Trey Run set to ride on June 24

Jun 20, 2018

The Trey Strong Organization will host its second Trey Run on June 24, continuing efforts to raise money for students in need.

The organization was founded in memory of Trey Miranda, an Onset teenager who died of brain cancer just before his 18th birthday in 2016.

Proceeds from last year’s run helped the Trey Strong Organization purchase 200 backpacks filled with supplies for students in need. The funds also awarded six, $250 scholarships to Wareham High School students.

The organization has also donated backpacks to programs such as Headstart and the Boys & Girls Club of Wareham.

The Trey Run will start and end at the Dudley L. Brown VFW in Onset.

Ride registration starts at 9 a.m. Kickstands go up at 11 a.m. For those who want to attend, but not ride, doors for the event open at noon. Tickets cost $20.
