5th annual Chalk-Full-O-Fun Street Painting Festival

The Onset Bay Association will host the 5th annual Chalk-Full-O-Fun Street Painting Festival with acclaimed 3-D artist, David Zinn, on Saturday, Aug. 25.
The festival is set for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Prospect Park on Union Avenue. The rain date for the festival is Aug. 26. A workshop with Zinn will start at 10 a.m. on Aug. 25 and will be held on that day indoors at the Boys & Girls Club in the event of rain.
Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to participate. Registration starts at 9 a.m. Cost is $5 for a full square and a box of chalk or $2 for a quarter square. The public can vote for their favorite artists. Prizes are awarded in several categories.
Entertainment occurs from 1 to 3 p.m. by Johnny Botelho, acoustic musician and singer. Activities include: a juried artisan craft fair, face painting and a story walk with a limited number of book giveaways.
