First Congregational Church to host Valentine's Eve dinner and show

Feb 6, 2010

The First Congregational Church of Wareham will host a "Valentine's Eve" dinner and show Feb. 13 featuring "New England's Man of Many Voices," Joey Canzano, to raise money for future improvements to the church.

Canzano performs songs by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis, and more, in each singer's signature style, said Barbara Coletti, treasurer of the church. The show will also feature comedy by Canzano's "Comedy Caberet".

The event will be held at the church's fellowship hall at 11 Gibbs Ave. The hall was recently renovated and made handicap-accessible, Coletti said.

The doors open at 5:30 p.m.; a cash bar will be available. A full-course dinner of chicken cordon bleu, catered by Brian Bump, will be served at 6:00. The show starts at 7:30.

Tickets cost $30 and include the meal and show. To purchase tickets and reserve a table for six or eight people, contact Barbara Coletti at 508-295-7107 or e-mail barbaratony007@aol.com.
