A 28-year-old Wareham man arrested on Dec. 9 for operating under the influence reportedly became unruly while being booked.

Officers Jennifer Braley and Charles Pillsbury arrested David W. Ewan Jr. around 6 p.m. near the corner of Main Street and Open Hearth Drive after receiving multiple calls about an erratic driver.

According to reports, Ewan became unruly during the booking process at the Wareham Police Department.

Officers say Ewan became disruptive while communications officers were taking an emergency call. He was immediately taken to a holding cell for safety and processed later.

Ewan is charged with operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and disorderly conduct.
