Lakeville author Thomas Cirignano will come to the Wareham Free Library on Saturday, March 4 at 1 p.m. to discuss his book, "Memoirs of a South Boston Mechanic". 

Cirignano had a front row seat to the mob wars, Whitey Bulger's reign of terror, forced busing and the OPEC oil embargo of the 1970s from his South Boston gas station. 

With both mobsters and cops as his friends, he became adept at navigating the tightrope between good and evil. 

Cirignano will share all his surreal memories with just the right bit of humor. 

Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
