A Helping Paw thanks donors for successful fundraiser

Apr 17, 2012

A Helping Paw Humane Society would like to thank everyone who participated in their recent annual 'Have-A-Heart for Pets' fundraiser.

This year, the Humane Society raised more than $580, thanks in part to a generous donation of two $100 raffle tickets from Dan Baker of Buzzards Bay Tattoo.

All of the funds raised will go to support spaying and neutering programs for pets, many of them owned by pet owners facing financial challenges.

A Helping Paw is asking anyone who needs a low cost spay/neuter for their cat or kitten to sign up at the shelter on 3086 Cranberry Highway or by calling 508-291-7297.

Every year A Helping Paw sells red hearts for a donation of $5 each to benefit their "Stop the Killing" campaign to prevent hundreds of homeless pets.
