Julia (Correia) Lopes, 95, of Onset, died May 28, in Kindred Transitional Care at Forestview. She was the daughter of the late Antone and Marion (Da Lomba) Correia.

Mrs. Lopes was born in Wareham and lived in Onset for most of her life.

Mrs. Lopes worked as a stitcher in the clothing industry for many years before retiring.

She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Onset.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Bennett of Middletown, R.I.; three grandchildren, Jo Anna, Stephanie and Kyle; three nephews, Manuel Reine, Jr., John Reine, and Melvin Reine all of E. Falmouth;  three nieces, Nancy Ann Andrade of E. Falmouth, Marion Parmenter of Florida, and B. Bernadette Andrews of Providence, R.I.; several great-nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elvira DeGrass of Teaticket.

Her funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 1, from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Onset.
