Mr. Eugene Loyal Kelley, age 90, entered into his eternal rest, surrounded by his family on April 7, 2024.

Born and raised in Canton, Georgia on the edge of the Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest, Mr. Kelley enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1953 and served twenty years of honorable service.  He earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, with four oak leaf clusters and the Air Force Longevity Service Award, with three oak leaf clusters. Having served in support of the Vietnam War in Indochina, Mr. Kelley, while stationed at Hellenikon AFB in Greece, met Feroula Zinzopolous to whom he would be married for 59 years.

After returning stateside, Mr. Kelley would be stationed across the U.S. until settling at Otis Air Force Base, making his family home in Onset for 60 years. Mr. Kelley found his peace on the water, fishing by shore and by boat and raising his children to do the same.

Predeceased by his wife, Feroula; his siblings James, Sonny and Virginia, Mr. Kelley is survived by his daughter Athena "Ginger" Kelley, of Onset; his sons Konstantenos "Kosta" of Wareham, Earl of Marion and John of Plymouth.  Beloved Papa to Giselle "Becky" Ducharme and her husband Eric of Wareham, Zachary and Zoe Kelley of Marion, and Marina and Erika Kelley of Wareham.  Beloved (great) Papa to Cole and Hailee Ducharme of Wareham and Nikos and Calliope Kelley of Wareham.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Wed., April 17, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m at the funeral home.  Burial immediately following at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Joint Base Cape Cod, Bourne.
