WAREHAM – Diana L. Thompson, 72, of E. Wareham, died Monday, June 10, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Ralph R. Thompson.

Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Dorine (Wig) Eaton. Raised in Warwick, NY, she moved to Wareham in her 20's.

Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Wareham/New Bedford Lodge of Elks and enjoyed country line dancing. She was a loving grandmother who adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Michele Traver and her husband Kevin of Buzzards Bay; her son, Kevin Thompson of New Bedford; her sisters, Linda Van Wert of Wareham and Elaine Buck of Falmouth; her brother, Chris Eaton of Wareham; and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.
