To the editor,

Walking with my dog on leash this morning on dirt road off Green Gate lane, there was a buck deer standing around 20 feet away.

He lowered his antlers. We stared at each other. He stomped his left front hoof. We decided to turn around and walk the other way!

Since it is rutting season I wanted to make people walking near the woods aware of potential danger.
