Installing an 18KW Generac standby generator to feed existing 200 Amp transfer switch and fueled by existing (2) 120-gallon propane tanks. Generator will be placed on a precast concrete platform. A 2-foot-deep trench will be dug between the generator and the existing transfer switch on the house and between the propane tanks and the generator. These trenches will facilitate wiring and fuel lines to the generator. After placement of the lines, the trenches will be filled in and reseeded with grass to match the existing surroundings. Work within the 100’ buffer zone but outside the 30’ no-work zone includes replacing a dilapidated 10’ x 14’ shed with a new one in the same location and resurface the driveway area with crushed shells, pea-stone or other permeable material.
