The Wareham Middle School announced their January Students of the Month.

Jalyssa Costa was named the fifth grade's Student of the Month and her teachers commended her willingness to help others and jump into new activities.

“Jalyssa is a creative student and a wonderful addition to art club this year," one teacher said. "She always tries out the new projects and adds her own personal style to her artwork.”

Sixth grader Gage Whiting was named Student of the Month and teachers applauded him for his thirst for knowledge.

“He has a yearning for historical knowledge and is always willing to help others to learn more as well," said one teacher. "Gage is inclusive to all and has a natural likeness quality. A role model at its finest here at WMS and a pleasure to have in class each and every day.”

Gabriel Nunes was named Student of the Month for the seventh grade and teachers praised him for bringing a positive attitude to the classroom.

“Gabe is great! He is always respectful and he has a great sense of humor as well as an awesome attitude," one teacher said. "I enjoy having him in class!”
