The Onset Bay Association’s Mostly Annual Chili Contest returns on Saturday, May 10, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Stone Path Malt, 11 Kendrick Road.

Advance tickets are $20 and include access to tastings, live music, raffles, and the opportunity to vote for your favorite chili in the People’s Choice competition. Tickets will be $25 at the door.

Home cooks and chili enthusiasts are invited to enter the contest for a chance to win a $250 cash prize and bragging rights for Best Overall Chili. Entry is $25 per contestant. Participants must prepare at least two gallons of chili and may include any toppings of their choice. Prizes will also be awarded for Best Presentation.

Each contestant will be provided with a 6-foot table, a chair, tasting cups, spoons, and napkins. Power is limited, so the use of chafing dishes and Sterno is encouraged. A limited supply is available upon request.

All proceeds from the event support the Onset Bay Association and its year-round calendar of community events.
