Gail Anne Kilpeck (Florence), 80
WAREHAM- Gail Anne Kilpeck (Florence), born in Fall River on April 4,1945, of Plymouth, MA formerly of Middleboro, MA went to her eternal home surrounded by family on April 12, 2025 at the age of 80, following a short illness.
Gail, also known as Mom, Ma, Momsy, Gram and Vovo, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, her church family, and many more whose lives she touched. Gail was a dedicated member of Saint Margaret of Scotland Parish in Buzzards Bay, MA where she spent much time volunteering as a Eucharistic Minister and would take on any assignment. She will be remembered by how her life was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was continuously dedicated to giving to the poor and less fortunate and would always give beyond her means. While working at the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, Gail was particularly proud of her missionary work counseling inmates on the importance of having Christ in their lives.
Gail is survived by her loving children, Shawn Kilpeck of Middleboro; Kelli Reed and her husband Patrick of Norwell; and Neil Kilpeck and his wife Sherry of Middleboro. Her grandchildren Madeline Kilpeck of Middleboro; and Meredith and Patrick Reed of Norwell were the loves of her life and brought her great joy.
Although Gail’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us toward Jesus Christ. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. Mom, as you continue to worship Jesus in heaven, your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
Funeral services to honor the life of Gail A. Kilpeck will be held on Friday April 25, 2025 at 10:00AM at Saint Margaret’s Catholic Church, 141 Main St. Buzzards Bay, MA followed by private interment at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River, MA.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Gail’s memory to Saint Margaret’s.
