To the Editor:

I read your article on the "Coinks" that are being placed around Wareham. I am a Staten Island resident and live within walking distance of Oakwood. I wasn't affected by the storm, but many were and still are.

I came across one of the little pigs in The Old Company Store, much to my delight. I visit Wareham twice a year because my mother lives here. Ironically, she attended the Oakwood Heights Community Church while living on Staten Island.

Thank you for your article and for the Wareham residents who showed their love to a little piece of another shoreline community.
