William Rush, 76, of Parkwood Beach, Wareham, passed away March 20, at Tobey Hospital. William was the husband of Lucille (Buchiachio) Rush of Parkwood Beach.

William was born in Boston, the son of the late William and Kathleen D. (Bahmer) Rush. He attended Sacred Heart Parochial School in Roslindale.

William is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and also attended Vesper George School of Art in Boston, and worked as a commercial artist for many years. William retired from the Boston Globe as a Director of Advertising Art. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons: Stephen Rush of Texas and Jason Rush of Hanover. He is the grandfather of Benicio D. Rush, Anastasia Bunker, Jeremiah Rush, Trinity Rush, Jason Rush, Allysan Kelly, and Emilia Kelly. He is the brother of Barbara Higley of Fla.
