‘Wareham’s Got Talent’ takes the stage on Oct. 18
Instead of its usual dinner and show fundraiser, the Wareham Library Foundation this year is opening up the stage to a variety of acts for its first talent show.
“Wareham’s Got Talent” will be held on Friday, Oct. 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Redmen Hall, located at 786 Main St. Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased at the Wareham Library’s Main or Spinney Branch.
“It’s going to be a fun, family-friendly event with a lot of great performances,” said Liz Wiley, president of the Wareham Library Foundation.
Judges for the evening include Miss Massachusetts Jillian Zucco.
In the past, the foundation has put on a short play or in some instances a murder mystery dinner. This year, Wiley said foundation members wanted to invite the community to show off their skills.
The evening will also include light refreshments and raffles.
