13-year-old Jacob Frasier spread some early Christmas cheer this month by helping his grandparents decorate for the holiday season.

“He did it without being asked at all,” said Janet Kowzic of Shawnee Drive. “He just came over and did the whole thing.”

Both Kowzic and her husband, Frank, struggle with limited mobility. In recent years, Kowzic said, decorating the yard by themselves had become too much.

“Frank tried to put some lights up by himself,” she said. “And that’s when Jacob came over. He told my husband to go back in the house and said that he would do the rest.”

The Kowzic’s yard now boasts more than just a couple of lights, complete with Santa and a nativity scene.

“He’s amazing,” said Kowzic. “And he definitely has the spirit of Christmas.”
