The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is Monday, April 2, at 12 p.m. for the upcoming April 3 election.

Family members can apply for loved ones, but ballots must be mailed from the Town Clerk's Office to the voter, they can not be hand carried, according to the Town Clerk's Office.

Once the ballot is voted, the voter can assign anyone they wish to return the ballot. Ballots must be returned to and received in the Town Clerk's Office prior to the precincts closing at 8:00 p.m. on election day, April 3. Precincts are opened from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
