Albert Chester Freeland, 62, of Wareham, died January 1, 2022, at home. He was the son of the late George B. and Janice L. (Washburn) Freeland.

He was born in Boston and lived in Wareham for several years.

Mr. Freeland worked in construction in the area for many years.

He enjoyed fishing, working with his hands, classic cars, and making people laugh. 

Survivors include his children, George Freeland of Brandon, FL, Sara Holland and Joe Holland of Randolph, Chet Freeland, Jr. of Plymouth, Michael Freeland, Ralph Freeland, and Jeff Freeland all of Plymouth, his brothers and sisters, Sandra Smith-Weeks, Rene Kelly, Georgia Regan, Pauline Foley, Nina Masterson, Amy Mortimer, Janice Freeland and Jeff Freeland, and his girlfriend Kim Rosario. He was the father of the late David Freeland. 

Services will be held at a later date.
