Albert J. Pearson, 73
EAST WAREHAM – Albert J. Pearson, 73, of E. Wareham, died Friday, February 14, 2025 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Susan E. (Gaspa) Pearson.
Born in Boston, Albert was the son of the late Carl A. Pearson and Rita (Collecton) Pearson-Forcellati. A longtime resident of Dorchester, Albert moved to Wareham in 1977.
Mr. Pearson was a decorated U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. Enlisting in 1970, he served a tour of duty in country where he was awarded a Bronze Star for his service. He was discharged in 1972. After his military service, Mr. Pearson worked as commissary foreman for Stop & Shop at their Readville distribution center.
He enjoyed classic cars and enjoyed watching the Mecum and Barrett Jackson auto auctions on television.
Survivors include his wife, Susan E. Pearson of E. Wareham; his children, Jason Pearson of Wareham, Tanya Abdelnour of Brockton, Joshua Pearson of Sagamore and Krystal Harrington of Bourne; his siblings, Richard Pearson of AZ, James Pearson of Boston, Thomas Pearson of Acushnet, Peter Pearson of Bridgewater, William Pearson and Robert Pearson both of Plymouth, Michael Pearson of SC, Dorothy Steadman of Weymouth, Theresa O'Connor of Quincy and Carl Pearson of Boston. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Faylon Harrington, Hunter Pearson, Zoie Abdelnour, Adriyanna Abdelnour, Jaelynn Harrington, and Azia Abdelnour. He was predeceased by his sisters, the late Barbara Greenwood, Rita Estes, and June Jenkins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4 – 7 PM. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the Tabernacle of Praise, 187 Hathaway St., Wareham at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
