BUZZARDS BAY – Alberta J. (Pina) Jackson, 79, of Buzzards Bay, formerly of Wareham died Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Buzzards Bay.  She was the wife of the late Kenneth L. Jackson, Sr.

Born in Wareham, she was the daughter of the late Theresa (Rose) & Albert Pina.  A graduate of Wareham High School, Mrs. Jackson worked as a nurse's aide at the former Williams Hospital located on Joint Base Cape Cod, formerly OTIS Air Force Base.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth L. Jackson, Jr. of Watervliet, MI, Michael Jackson of Salsbury, MD, and Ryan Jackson and his wife Marybeth of Walnut, IL; her sister Tryna Pina of Onset; her grandchildren, Madison Jackson of Walnut, IL, and Mikaylah Jackson of Salsbury, MD.  She was predeceased by her brother, the late Marshall Pina.

Services were held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 3 to 5 PM.  A prayer service followed at 5 PM.  Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wareham will be private.
