A care provider at All American Assisted Living in Wareham has tested positive for the coronavirus.

It is currently unclear when the care provider tested positive, and how many people they may have come into contact with since contracting the virus, but Michael Allen, Vice President of Kaplan Development Group (which owns All American Assisted Living) confirmed the positive test result on Tuesday, April 14.

Allen said that All American Assisted Living is taking “appropriate precautions to take care of our residents” during the pandemic.

According to Allen, this includes taking temperatures of residents and staff multiple times per day, and restricting non-essential visitors.
