Allan Vincent Prunier, 85
ONSET – Allan Vincent Prunier, 85, of Onset, passed away on March 27, 2024, at home. He was the husband of Helen (Kavanagh) Prunier. They were married for 64 years. He was the son of the late Edward Donat and Eva Alice (Rudolph) Prunier.
He was born in Methuen and lived there for many years and then in Lawrence before moving to Onset 24 years ago. He graduated from Tenney High School in Methuen. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Prunier worked as an Installer for Lucent Technologies for many years before retiring.
He enjoyed classic cars, hot rods and cars from the 1950’s. He was an avid fisherman and most of all he loved his family.
Survivors include his wife, Helen (Kavanagh) Prunier; his children, David Allan of Derry, NH, Dawn Marie Prunier of Onset and Mark Vincent Prunier of North Reading; 3 grandchildren, Sherri, Matthew and Melissa; 4 great grandchildren, Dylan, Emily, Leah and Wesley.
Visiting hours are from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
His graveside service will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne. Please meet directly at the cemetery by 11:00 a.m.
