Dr. Thomas Gleason, Wareham’s longtime town physician, is continuing to help his community even after his death in February 2020.

The Dr. Thomas Gleason Scholarship, established in his honor, will give two awards of $1,000 and $500 to Wareham students who plan to study medicine or a related profession after high school. 

Applicants must be currently attending or have already been accepted into a college, university or professional training school.
