Barbara M. (Stephansky) D’Andrea, 88, of Wareham, died June 4, 2011. She was the widow of the late Louis E. D’Andrea and daughter of the late Leo F. and Eileen J. (Daley) Stephansky.

She was born in Quincy and lived in Pocasset before moving to Wareham 23 years ago.

Mrs. D’Andrea graduated from Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing.

She owned and operated The Flower Basket in Quincy. Previously she worked as a registered nurse.

She enjoyed gardening and crafts.

Survivors include 2 sons, Louis A. D’Andrea and his wife Annette of West Wareham and Richard D’Andrea and his wife Lucile of Las Vegas; a daughter, Stephanie Barber and her husband Ken of Natick; a brother, Francis D. Stephansky of Whitman; 3 step grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Leo and Richard Stephansky.

Her graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
