Barbara A. Pina, 81

Barbara A. Pina of Onset Massachusetts, born January 23, 1940, was reunited with her loving husband, Carl Pina Sr., her daughter, Yvonne D. Pina and her son, Ricardo M. Pina on May 29, 2021.

Barbara, best known to her friends and family as Babs, was a true fashionista. Anyone who knew her knows that she loved going shopping and accessorizing from head to toe. She always had her home decorated for the holidays and enjoyed both cooking and baking. Barbara loved having sleepovers with her grandchildren, and when her children were younger, she would spend the entire day at Back Beach in Onset with them and her sisters. 

Barbara leaves behind a large loving family, survived by her two remaining sons, Raymond A. Cardoza and Carl Pina Jr. Her sisters, Delores Thomas and Bernice Souza. Her grandchildren, Nerissa Cardoza, Raymond A. Cardoza Jr., Ashley Cardoza, Cierra Woody, Carlos Pina, Taleese Pina, Gianna Pina, Giovani Pina, Carl Pina III, Kyle Pina and Francisco Monteiro, along with over 30 great grandchildren. Barbara is loved by many and will be greatly missed. 

Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
