Rebecca A. Barber, 74

BREWSTER – Rebecca A. Barber, 74, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Cape Cod Post Acute Care in Brewster.

 Born in Wareham, she was the daughter of the late Manuel A. and Jennie M. (Cardoza) Barber.  Rebecca was a former resident of Wareham and Hyannis before she moved to Brewster.  She worked as a certified nurse’s aide at Tremont Nursing Home in Wareham.

 She loved caring for people, especially the elderly.

 Survivors include her son, Byron S. Barber; her brother, Peter Barber of E. Wareham; her two nieces and many loving cousins and friends.

 Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 2 to 4 PM.  A prayer service will be held at 4 PM.
