Become a computer whiz at the Library

Learn how to use a keyboard and mouse, access the internet, set up an email account and be safe while surfing the web during a three-week computer class at the Wareham Free Library.

During week one, participants will learn how to use a keyboard and a mouse, as well as different parts of Windows like the icons, desktop and start menu.

During week two, participants will begin to start using the Internet. They will learn about browsers, links and bookmarks. Additionally, participants will gain knowledge about how to search for information using Google.

During week three, participants will become familiar with the different components of email, including sending and receiving messages.

A session of each class will run on Jan. 10, 17, 24 and 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. or Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Registration is limited to six people per date.
