A Helping Paw Humane Society is holding an online silent auction from December 7 through December 19 at 9 p.m., to raise money for the no-kill animal rescue.

The money will help A Helping Paw to continue providing medical care and shelter to homeless pets.

The items being auctioned off include a gently used Silvertone acoustic guitar, two oil paintings by local artists, jewelry, and Beanie Babies. The bidding will take place on the organizations Facebook page, "A Helping Paw Humane Society."

Winners can pick up their winnings at A Helping Paw, located at 3086 Cranberry Highway in Wareham.
