Beverly A. Mignosa-Mirick, 71, of Wareham, died December 26, 2021, at Sippican Healthcare Center, Marion. She was the wife of the late Laurence F. Mirick, Jr. They were married for 37 years. She was the daughter of the late Costantino and Mary (Heffernan) Mignosa.

She was born in Quincy and lived in Braintree for 37 years before moving to Wareham two years ago. She received an associate degree from Quincy College.  

Mrs. Mignosa-Mirick worked as a social worker in the area for many years before running a small family business for many years.

She was a member of New Life Four Square Church in Weymouth. She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Cape Cod and Florida, rescuing animals and spending time with her nephews and nieces.

Survivors include her stepson, Jeremiah Mirick of Rockland; her sisters, Susan Risio and her husband, Pasquale of Wareham, Zina Venezia of Quincy; her brother, Andrew Mignosa of Winthrop; several nephews and nieces.  She was a very loving aunt to Christina Risio and Natalie Goncalves both of Wareham. She was the sister of the late Robert, Bruno and Santo Mignosa. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her services and burial will be private.
