Big second half pushes Vikings past Bulldogs
Jan 29, 2014
As Lady Viking Breanna Muir put up points, the rest of her team followed in a 48-33 win over Old Rochester on Jan. 28.
Muir scored 17 points for the game, all in the second half.
“Bri had a big second half,” Brogioli said. “She had all 17 in the second half? I didn’t know that. That’s a big half.”
Similarly, the Vikings scored a majority of their points in the second half.
“We missed a ton of layups in the first half,” coach David Brogioli said. “We should have had a big lead at halftime.”
Muir was not the only Wareham player to fill up the score sheet. Captain Amber Filkins had 14 points in the victory.
The other captain, Kia Fernandes, added a baker’s dozen of her own.
Wareham’s record moves to 7-5 for the season.
