Brian A. Duffy, 33, of Dorchester, formerly of Wareham, died unexpectedly April 3 at home. He was the son of Gary R. Duffy of Marion and Alice E. (Wright) Duffy of West Wareham.

He was born and raised in Wareham before moving to Dorchester recently. He attended Wareham High School.

Mr. Duffy worked as a laborer for Abacus Builders and General Contractors in Boston. He loved spending time with his daughter and being a father. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, motorcycling and lifting at the gym. Brian will be long remembered for his infectious smile.

Survivors include his father, Gary R. Duffy of Marion; his mother, Alice E. (Wright) Duffy of West Wareham; a brother, Gary Duffy of Buzzards Bay; his daughter, Lillian B. Duffy of Wareham and his girlfriend, Molly M. Cosgrove of Wareham; his grandmother, Alice Wright of Brockton; a step grandmother, Barbara Russell of Wareham; one niece, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
