Bruce F. Martin, 79, of Wareham, died Sunday, March 27 at his home. He was the husband of Eleanor M. (Moulaison) Martin.

Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Joseph P. & Helen P. (McCarthy) Martin. A graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1956, Mr. Martin served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1961. Mr. Martin was a civilian employee for the Army National Guard for many years at Joint Base Cape Cod. He retired in 1995 as an equipment foreman. After his retirement, he worked at Pocasset Golf Club. Mr. Martin was a member of the Seaside Club in Plymouth.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, his children, Sherry Ann Martin, of Atlanta, Georgia, Bruce F. Martin, Jr., of Whitman, Brian P. Martin of Seminole, Florida, and Joseph Alan Martin of Greenwood, Indiana; his sister, Patricia Fowler of Deland, Florida; his brother, Edward Martin of Middletown, Pennsylvania, and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, the late Thomas Martin and his sister, the late Barbara McLinden.

His funeral service will be held on Monday, April 4 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, High St., Wareham at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours will be Sunday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
