Buzzards Play Productions announces charity events
The Wareham Free Library and patients from the Boston Children's Hospital will be given a helping hand from Buzzards Play Productions, which is hosting two benefit events in the coming weeks.
Jessica Smart, a representative for Buzzards Play Productions and 3065LIVE approached the Board of Selectmen on Tuesday night with announcements for both events.
The first is a Masquerade Ball on Oct. 30.
On Nov. 5, the venue will host its second annual Wareham Free Library benefit concert beginning at 7 p.m. The show will feature local talent.
The Board of Selectmen granted the business two, one-day liquor licenses: one for a comedy show on Oct. 25 and another for a reggae concert on Dec. 9.
According to Selectman Patrick Tropeano, Chief of Police Kevin Walsh recommended granting the licenses “as long as its not a rock or rap concert.”
