The Wareham Select Board chose three candidates to constitute the Bylaw Review Committee at its meeting of Tuesday, Aug. 6: Jared Fredrickson, Julie Moran and Jilian Morton.

Fredrickson has worked as an intern with the Wareham Planning Department and ran for the Select Board in the 2024 elections.

He said he could provide an outside set of eyes to the work of the committee: “I know my way around Wareham bylaws,” he said.

Julie Moran is on the Planning Board and formerly served on the Finance Committee. She did not appear at the Select Board meeting.

Jilian Morton is a real estate attorney and frequently represents clients before the Planning Board.

Morton said she is a “fifth generation Warehamite” and that she can bring her expertise as an attorney to the benefit of the town.
