Can you trust it? Workshop explores AI and misinformation

Residents interested in learning how to identify misinformation, AI-generated content and online scams are invited to attend “How Do I Know What’s Real Anymore? Understanding AI, Misinformation & Everyday Online Trust” on Wednesday, June 17, at 6:30 p.m at the Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road.

The free program will explore how misinformation spreads online, how artificial intelligence is shaping digital content and ways people can quickly verify information and spot red flags. Organizers said the workshop is designed to be discussion-based, engaging and easy to follow, with no technical background required.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Wareham Free Library.
