The Wareham Fire District is sponsoring Candidates Night tonight, Thursday, April 4, at 6 p.m., at the Wareham Fire District offices, located at 2550 Cranberry Highway.

Candidates for the upcoming election will speak. There are uncontested races for two seats on the Prudential Committee, and the position of Water Commissioner.

The Clerk/Treasurer's position is up for grabs, with incumbent Marybeth Fernandes and challenger Wendy Lemieux vying for the seat.

The election is Saturday, April 13, and the polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Absentee ballots are available.
