Carmine J. “Mickey” Cutillo, 80

Carmine J. “Mickey” Cutillo (Ret. USAF), 80, died November 7 at his home after a long illness. He was the husband of Bonnie K. (Wagner) Carbone Cutillo.

Born in Revere, he was the son of the late Rocco & Josephine (Murray) Cutillo.

Mr. Cutillo retired from the Mass. Air National Guard, 102nd Fighter Wing as Chief Master Sergeant at OTIS AFB in Bourne. He served in Berlin during the Berlin Wall crisis in 1961 and also in Libya. Mr. Cutillo was also the manager of the Eagle’s Nest at OTIS AFB in Bourne.

He was a member of the Improved Order of Red Men, Cromesett Tribe #156 in Wareham.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael Cutillo of Phoenix, AZ and David Cutillo of Miami Beach, FL; four daughters, Dianne Cutillo and her husband Bernie Pinsonnault of Adams, Lisa Metcalf and Gail Dufault both of Sandwich, and Pamela Cutillo of Millbury; his step-children, Karl Carbone and his wife Mary, Leonard Carbone and Angela Whiffen all of Wareham, and Maria Carbone of Danville, ME; one sister, Florence Cutillo of Williamstown; 8 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, the late Louis Cutillo and his grandson, the late Steven Metcalf.

His funeral will be from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, on Nov. 10 at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, High St., at 9:30 AM.  Interment will be in Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne.  Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
