Carol Ann (Duffy) McNaught, 65, of East Wareham, passed away Monday, February 27 at Saint Luke’s Hospital after a long illness.

Carol is the wife of Donald McNaught of East Wareham. She was born in Dorchester the daughter of the late James and Jeanette (Climo) Duffy. She attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from South Boston High School.

Carol loved her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling, crochet and playing bingo.

In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her children James and his wife Andrea McNaught of N.Y., Marianne McNaught of Quincy, Deborah and her husband Donald Perry of E. Wareham, and Kenneth and his wife Laura McNaught of E. Wareham. She is the sister of Lorraine and her husband Robert Bolter of Quincy, James F. and his wife Jo Marie Duffy Jr. of Dorchester, and William J. Duffy of Quincy. Carol is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Cameron, Frank, Jacob, Emily, Zachary, Colin, Sarah, Brenna and Owen. She is the daughter-in-law of Corrine McNaught of Somerville and the late Donald McNaught Sr., and the niece of Thomas and his wife Blanche Climo of Braintree, George A. and his wife Alice Climo of Stoughton, Mary Stafford, and Viola "Vi" Scioli. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is the sister of the late Jean Marie Duffy.

Carol's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 3, at 9 a.m. in Saint Patrick’s Church, 82 High Street, Wareham. Relatives and friends are invited. There will be no visiting hours. Relatives and friends are asked to gather at the church at 8:45 a.m. Interment will be private.
