Carolees Comedy Corner to host "Triple Feature"

Summer may be over, but the Carolees Comedy Corner’s Summer of Comedy continues for one more evening of laughter at Buzzards Play Productions at 9 p.m. on Oct. 17.

Three of New England’s up and coming comics will be sharing the limelight in this month’s “Triple Feature” show at the playhouse, located at 3065 Cranberry Hwy.

Hailing from Rhode Island, Mike Murray is known as “The Deaf Comic”. Murray was hearing impaired until the age of forty, but his cochlear implants brought him into the hearing world and onto the comedy stage where he shares his unique experience with laughter and a smile. He has been seen at Comix Foxwoods, The Comic Strip in New York City, The Comedy Connection and Catch a Rising Star.

Andrea Henry got her start as class clown. As an adult, she finds life comical centers her comedy around people and situations, such as her brother’s divorce and her Greek grandmother. Andrea has frequented the stage of Mottley’s Comedy Club and other Boston venues.

Joe Buckley is a comedian from Boston and has been featured on various shows across New England, getting his start at Improv Boston in Cambridge. He cites Bill Burr, Louis C.K. and Patrice O’Neal as his biggest influences.

Emcee Chris Tabb, featured as headliner earlier this summer, also returns.
