Wareham Elementary School gym teachers Manny Borges and Deanna Semple have been collecting food for needy Wareham families for the past 15 years. This year, they decided to change the donations to cover needs for young families with babies who use Baby Point (a division of Turning Point) as a supplement for diapers, wipes, clothes and other baby necessities.

 

Borges and Semple will be taking donations through the end of November and will be delivering them to Baby Point located at the McDuffy Center next to the track on Viking Drive. Any donations from the public can be dropped off at the Elementary School, 63 Minot Ave., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, or at the Baby Point office, from now until Dec. 2.
