Christmas in the Parks brings out the kids
Now in its twentieth year, Christmas in the Parks has become a staple of pre-Christmas festivities in Onset.
The event is sponsored by the Onset Bay Association, and the Onset Fire Department as well as a number of local businesses including Cranberry Crab, the Firehouse Cafe and Onset's Finest Hair.
While a number of new businesses have joined in over the years, the talking tree in Dudley Square has been there from the get - go.
"The talking Christmas tree has been talking to the kids for twenty years," said Lorraine McDonald of the Onset Bay Association.
The area was also bedecked on decorations which McDonald says were bought with money the OBA raises at fundraisers throughout the year.
There was also a horse drawn carriage and carolers, transforming the village into a scene from a snow globe - only without the snow.
