ROCHESTER - Claire Frances Belrose, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, of Rochester, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the age of 81, surrounded by family after a long illness.

Born in Boston on January 16, 1944, Claire was the cherished daughter of the late James E. Thom and Catherine M. McKenna. She graduated from Dorchester High School and attended the Boston College Business School. Known for her strong work ethic and warm spirit, Claire held various roles throughout her life, including working as a waitress at the Riverside Restaurant in Middleborough and later retiring from the IBEW Local 2322 Union Office, where she was a valued member of the team.

Claire shared 37 years of love and devotion with her husband, Ronald Belrose of Rochester, MA. Her greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her loving children: son Joseph Campisi, Jr. & his girlfriend Wendy; daughter Gina Campisi; son Thom Jones; adored granddaughter, Madison Jones; daughter-in-law and devoted caregiver Jenn Payette; and stepdaughter Sara Mann & her husband Eric. Claire was a woman of great heart and humor, always finding time to laugh, listen, and offer kindness to those around her.

She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Joan Murray; and her brother, James Thom Jr., all of whom she held close in her heart.

Claire will be remembered for her grace, her resilience, and the unconditional love she gave her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the stories shared by those who loved her.

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service starting at 11:00 AM.

Interment at the Titicut Parish Cemetery, Plymouth Street, North Middleborough.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claire’s name to the Colon and Rectal Cancer Program at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, 330 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
