Lippincott was an honors student at Sandwich Middle High School and loved baseball, golf and all adventure sports including dirt biking, mountainbiking, ATVing, snowmobiling and skiing, according to his obituary. Lippincott is survived by his parents, Eric and Tammy Lippincott, his brother Tyler Ryan Lippincott, Grandmothers Charleen Lippincott and Ann Gavett and his uncles, aunts and cousins.

Diamond MX published a GoFundMe page made in Lippincott’s honor on its Facebook page.

According to the GoFundMe, which is organized by East Sandwich resident Nicholas Kostaras, Colby was the Lippincott family’s youngest son.

“There are few, if any, words during times like this but it is so important that we, as family, friends, and neighbors, come together to show our support for the Lippincotts,” read the page.

A scholarship fund was created to honor his memory, according to the obituary. Donations can be sent to the Town of Sandwich, Attn: Treasurer, The Colby Lippincott Memorial Scholarship Fund at 100 Route 6A, Sandwich, MA 02563 or
