Council on Aging spring celebration
The flowers are blooming the birds are chirping and the Council on Aging is having a party to celebrate the long-awaited awakening of spring.
The party will be held on Wednesday, April 16. Lunch will include: cranberry juice, oven fried boneless chicken breast, spinach/mandarin salad with Italian dressing, potato salad, garlic dinner roll, strawberry shortcake. In deference to the holidays, there will be no DJ this month, just background music. A basket auction will follow lunch.
Call Cheryl to reserve lunch at (508) 291-3100 ext. 6514 at least a few days in advance. A $2.50 donatioon is suggested for lunch.
The event is a three-way presentation between the Council on Aging, the Friends of Wareham's Elderly and Old Colony Elder Services. Got an Easter bonnet, or creative enough to make a fun one? Add to the festivities by wearing it.
