Cynthia Lee Worrell, 58, peacefully left us on Saturday, Jan. 16, surrounded at home by her loving family.

Cindy was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, on May 27, 1957. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Geoff; her children, Lindsay and her wife C., Geoffrey and his wife Hannah and Ashley; her parents, Ronald and Audrey Jones, of Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada; her sister, Cathy and her husband Buzz Fenske, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Cindy’s incredible life will take place on Sunday, Jan. 24 at Wickenden Chapel, Tabor Academy, 66 Spring St., Marion, at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow.

Cindy had respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). The teams at MGH gave us so much more time with Cindy and we are forever appreciative of their efforts. Additional support will help in their efforts in treating and curing Lymphoma.
