Mar 2, 2020

The Wareham High School DECA club had a successful run at the State Championships over the weekend.

The group won the School Spirit Award, thanks in part to Khai Delgado, who is the club’s unofficial hype man.

Natalia Moulding was awarded the Mass DECA scholarship.

Bridgid Irving and Emilie Keating placed in the top ten for their financial literacy written paper and presentation.

Julianne Matthews placed in the top ten with her written sales project. She was the only individual to place, as the rest were teams of two or more students.

Freshman Laura Clements placed in the top ten for Principles of Marketing.

Freshman Indiana Troupe placed fourth in Principles of Hospitality and Tourism, second in one of his role plays. Troupe will be competing at the International Career Development Conference in April which takes place in Nashville, TN.

They also earned 6 leadership spots through their projects and campaigns.
