Mar 17, 2017

The Buzzards Bay Coalition and Wareham Land Trust will soon host Itty Bitty Bay Explorers, a series of four, free outings on Wednesday mornings in April. Through games and hands-on activities, families can learn all about signs of spring in the Buzzards Bay region.

On April 5, explore the beach and salt marsh with The Trustees at the Lyman Reserve, located at 110 Red Brook Road, Plymouth.

On April 12, discover spring critters at Horseshoe Mill, located at the end of Station Street in Wareham. On April 19, look for signs of spring in the woods at William Minot Forest, 63 Minot Ave., Wareham.

And on April 26, get to know plants and animals in a cranberry bog at Westgate Conservation Area, located at 29 Papermill Road, Wareham. All programs run from 10 to 11 a.m.

Itty Bitty Bay Explorers is recommended for families with children aged 5 and younger. Participants are encouraged to attend all four programs, but it is not required.

Registration is required for each program. To RSVP, visit www.savebuzzardsbay.org/events/ or contact the Buzzards Bay Coalition at 508-999-6363 ext. 219 or bayadventures@savebuzzardsbay.org.
