Dog licenses go on sale Dec. 15
Dog licenses for 2015 will be available for sale beginning
Monday, Dec. 15, in the Town Clerk's office in Town Hall, 54 Marion Road.
To obtain a license, an owner must present an updated rabies certificate and, if applicable, a spayed/neutered certificate.
Dogs that have been altered cost $10 to register; unaltered dogs cost $13. Anyone age 70 or over at the time of registration will receive one free license per household. Proof of age is required.
Any dog owner who cannot make it into the office can register his or her dog by mail. Send a copy of the required certificates, a check for the relevant amount made out to "Town of Wareham," and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Town Clerk, 54 Marion Road, Wareham, MA 02571. The license and tag (without a hook) will be returned in the self-addressed envelope.
